Richard Goor is a partner with the firm, and focuses his practice on Real Estate, Professional Defense Litigation and Transactional Matters. He is adept at using his litigation and alternative dispute resolution skills in serving the various facets of the real estate and business industry. For three decades, Rick has successfully defended appraisers, real estate brokers/agents, inspectors, attorneys, physicians, and other professionals in complex malpractice claims. Rick also has extensive real estate and business transactional experience. He has written articles and spoken at real estate broker and appraiser risk management and industry seminars. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
Rick was born in Phoenix, Arizona and raised in San Diego, CA where he was one of the original bat boys for the San Diego Padres. Rick and his wife, Sandy, have two daughters, Dani and Emily, who are both currently students at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. When he is not in the office, Rick can be found hiking and mountain biking on different trails around the state. He also enjoys playing tennis and is an avid reader.
